The glutton’s guide to Atlanta

January 7, 2013

The capital of the state of Georgia, Atlanta is famous for the 1996 Olympics, the CNN Center and as the home of Coca-Cola. Ride around in style with a Bus Charter Atlanta charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus or school bus and you’ll discover that there’s a whole lot more that it should be famous for.

Food is something that always marks the greatness of a city and Atlanta is no different. While it may not be first place one thinks of when it comes to food, you’ll be surprised when it comes to options you have and you can sample them all if you made the most out of your time here in Atlanta with party bus rental service.

In fact, Richard Blais from Top Chef’s Season 4 is from Atlanta and runs FLIP Burger – an innovative and modern burger place featuring his famous liquid nitrogen style molecular gastronomy as well as a fancy sausage restaurant called HD1 in Poncey-Highland.

Start your day with a breakfast of Pumpernickel bagel with whipped chive cream cheese at BB’s Bagels. These tasty
and chewey bagels are so fresh they don’t need to be toasted and when served up with a thick helping of their green onion whipped cream cheese, you’ll want breakfast to be your only meal of the day. All you need is to find out where the address it, hand it over to the party bus, charter bus or mini bus driver and you are well on your way.

For Appetizers, the Blue Crab Fritters, a pile of crab over citrus with hints of vanilla and Thai hot peppers served with slices of avocado, from Bacchanalia always takes my breath away.

Carry on to lunch (as if you could stuff any more in) and try the Pulled Pork Barbecue Sandwich. It’s available only on Monday’s and comes on buttered Texas toast with pickles and slaw. Pair it with a side of their jalapeno mac and cheese and you’ll be crying tears of joy and heat and the same time.

Ok, if you can’t take in any more, go sight seeing around Atlanta with Bus Charter Atlanta and make sure you work up a sweat because for dinner, you must drop in to Honey Pig to try their, well, Honey Pig! Prepared on a grill, its piggyness is served up with kimchee, garlic cloves, and other goodies to give you a dinner of some of the most tender, flavorful porcine goodness you’ll ever have.

There’s all this and so much more and our charter bus and party bus regular customer can give you so many more recommendations. And you thought Atlanta locals only ate and drank Coca-cola all day long…
